We are a group of six female artists who run a studio, workshop and gallery space in Robin
Hood's Bay a small coastal village in the North Yorkshire Moors.
Let me introduce everyone.
Pam Hoyle works mainly in acrylics and mixed media. She often produces large brightly coloured canvases.
Enid Allen is an oil painter, her subjects range from miners in a harsh industrial landscape to views of beautiful Robin Hood's Bay and the surrounding area.
Trish Connell takes her inspiration from living and walking in the North York Moors and paints oils in an expressive loose style.
Sadie Hepburn is a truly local girl, living in or around Robin Hood's Bay all her life. She paints oils of local landscapes and paintings inspired by her love of travel.
Joan Newton discovered the joy of painting later in life and has gone from being terrified of a blank canvas to confidently producing and regularly selling her paintings.
Louise Connell is a watercolour artist and sculptor working in recycled materials. Her creativity is driven by the beauty that she finds every day all around her.
